One Tree Hill Season Nine on DVD/UltraViolet

Season Nine of One Tree Hill is coming out on DVD! Along with the 13 episodes, The Complete Ninth Season of One Tree Hill also features 2 hours of fan favorite extra content. Included in the content are 3 all-new featurettes a full-length commentary,unaired scenes and a hilarious gag reel. Season Nine was for sure a blast from the past with returning characters gracing the season. Venturing away from One Tree Hill season ago, the returning characters included Chris Keller, Dan Scott, Lucas Scott and more.



I always love in any show how they bring back characters when the show comes to an end, esp. like with One Tree Hill. The fans kept the show going for nine seasons, so its owed to us to get to see those who use to be on the show and how they changed over time. For me Chris Keller was my favorite to see come back. Chris was a guest star in seasons two, three and four, so it was great to see him come back in season nine as a main character. It shows how characters develop and can take such an important role in a show over time.

One Tree Hill: The Complete Ninth Season on DVD/UltraViolet

One Tree Hill is one show that I never really watched until several seasons had pasted. It was at that time the show that all my coworkers were talking about and I had no clue as to what was going on. I started watching reruns and it got me hooked right away. I am so glad that the seasons are now on DVD so when I have time I can watch them at my speed.

Throughout the series, we have seen Brooke grow from a wild and generally carefree girl to a mature and grounded young woman. In Season 9, Brooke is now a mother to twin boys and is excited for her futer with her husband Julian. Like Brooke's character we all didn’t magically transform overnight into a mature adult. We have all been there and done that we have learned from our mistakes and moved forward from them, it is all how we become adults just as Brooke has.

After dinner on Monday evening my oldest son started telling me about what they had discussed in Science class that day, the moon landing in 1969. His first question to me was Mom do you think it is real? Then in the meantime he gets my laptop and pulls up this video.

I did not want to have any influence on him, so I asked him what his take was, even after them talking about it that day. Boy was I shocked to hear what come from his mouth. He said I don’t think it happened. I was not in shock because he thought that way; I was in shock that he thought the same way I did. He told me that he had questioned his teacher while they were in the discussion; of course there were questions he could not even answer. I told him that I can remember thinking the same way as he did after watching the video for the first time when I was young. There are many questions for me that were never answered and I honestly believe there are questions we all could ask and never get an answer to. I think sometimes maybe if I was older and seen this live on TV I would have a different prospective on it. What do you think? Was the walk on the moon real or was it a hoax by our government?

Did you see any snow this winter?

I can honestly say this winter was the first one I will ever remember that we did not get snow, real snow. I can't believe that we made it though winter here in the mountains of North Carolina without a major snow. It makes me kind of sad, but since it has already been in the 70's I am so ready for the warm weather. Everything has bloomed and looks beautiful around these parts. I worry about Summer, what will it be like since the 70's are already here! They say the first of April will be cold again, only time will tell.

I have always heard that if March comes in like a lamb, it will go out like a lion.
