Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Soundtrack

Who doesn't love the Chipmunks? I know growing up how I loved them and I even would collect the drinking glasses, which I still have them today. Also my mom still has the Chipmunks Christmas record that she gets out around Christmas. We all love it and don't know what we will do if something happens to it. ;o) The boys and I were so excited to get the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Soundtrack.


Since we seem to always be on the go, I said lets just listen to it in the car and it was great as the boys loved every moment of it. My oldest just automatically started singing along, well so did mom. To tell you all the truth of the matter, I wished that we would have waited until we where at home as it made us all want to dance. Even little man in his car seat was just a babbling along and wiggling his little feet. The songs that my boys liked best was "Shake your grove thing" by The Chipmunks and "Hot N Cold" by The Chipettes. I will say that I was in shock of how many words that my son knew of these songs and others on this CD. These are songs that I have loved forever on this CD and they have made it so kid friendly and I know your little ones will love it too. The CD is filled with 15 wonderful songs:

Thankful Thursday

I am doing a little something different for today. I have had a bad start to this morning, so I just want to take a moment to say Thank you to my parents! Thank you for teaching me not to be rude! I don't understand how people in this world can be so rude. You can ask a simple question and get such a rude comment and most of the time it comes from adults.

As I get older and wiser, I understand the foundation that my parents gave me and my brother. I was not the perfect child, I was rude and unruly to my parents and to a degree my older son is to. As my mom says it's all just the circle of life and payback. ;O) I guess she is right.

However, I see no reason for an adult to be rude. Yes, we all have our bad days but don't take it out on everyone else. There is no reason to be rude, unless they have given you a reason to be rude. At least this is the way I think about things. I believe that when you ask a simple question in a polite way, just respond in a nice way. (Can you tell his is what happened to me? lol)

If you are having a bad day, just smile and know God loves you!!

Snow day fun for the boys! :o)

Spring is on it's way.....

I just know it is. I have been waiting for weeks and months to see you Spring. We have had a really bad winter and I am sick of the snow! This weekend I seen the first sign that Spring is on it's way......



A robin, I love looking for robin's in the Spring. I can always remember my grandmother and father telling me that it was a sign Spring is on it's way. Yet I do remember them saying usually in a month or month in a half. :o(

It was a great weekend here in the North Carolina mountains, I was able to help my husband clean the truck and car inside and out. The boys played out in the driveway because our yard is still covered with snow. ;o)

This morning when I was driving into work, I seen a beautiful rainbow in the sky and I heard the wonderful little birds singing the song of Spring. Yes, I know we are still in March and that here in NC we can get some of our biggest snows in March. However, I am very hopeful that God will bless us with an early Spring.
