Clorox Green Works

Friday was Earth Day as many of you were aware of, but can I ask you a question? What does Earth Day mean to you and what are you doing to be "green"?

Clorox Green Works is trying to help us out, to help us clean in a much better way! It was brought to my attention just this week that Clorox Green Works Natural Bathroom Cleaner won the first and only (so far) Natural Home Care Seal by Natural Products Association.
Even though this is the only Green Works product with this seal, this doesn't mean there will not be others to follow, other Green Works products have been send to Natural Products Association for review.

I know as a mother when I am cleaning how bad the chemical smells can be and I know this is not good for the earth nor any one around, especially the kids. The Green Works Natural Bathroom Cleaner is a great way to help me get the cleaning done, but without the smells and harsh chemicals.

Have you tried any of the new Green Works products? If not, how would you like too? I will choose three lucky winners and each one of you will receive a bottle of Clorox Green Works Natural Bathroom Cleaner.

Thankful Thursday!

This weeks Thankful Thursday is one that I have been waiting on, you ask oh what is it?

It was my much needed Easter break and Spring! (Which I think is finally here!)

I was off from work Monday and Tuesday of this week, yes I got some much needed things done around the house and enjoyed the nice sun that was out. We even cleaned up the patio furniture and broke out the grill. Let me just say, I had to use it too! I love to use the grill, it's so fast and easy to use. I marinated some pork chops in Italian Salad Dressing all day then grilled them and they turned out so good and they are healthy for you. Our good friends Brantley and Christina gave us this idea when we went camping together last summer.

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter and you are getting some nice weather your way!

Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Soundtrack

How many of you out there have taken my advice and bought Alvin and The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel Soundtack?

The more that we listen to it the more we love the soundtrack! Just in case you haven't had a chance to check it out here is just a little description about it:

"The Squeakquel Movie Soundtrack is great entertainment for both kids and parents. Featuring chipmunk'd renditions of classics from Beyonce, Katy Perry, the Bee Gees and many more, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and their girlfriends, The Chipettes, provide hours of fun for everyone."

It really does provide hours of fun and the kids will love it. You may think, this is just another CD, well it's not. Let me be the first to let you know, this CD will get your kids up and moving. It will be a great way for them to use their gross motor skills. This CD had my boys dancing and jumping and when they heard "You Spin Me Round" they were spinning! This CD not only helps develop gross motor skills, it also will help develop their memory as they want to remember the words to the songs. I find as an adult I can pick up quick on the words to songs, but for the little guys they must work at it, but I can tell each time they listen they have picked up a new word.

Don't forget you can purchase your own CD for your little ones at Amazon.com or download it from iTunes!

Disclosure:
I did receive a copy of the Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel from Word of Mouth Marketing. I will be receiving some compensation for my time, however this is my own honest opinion and in no way are swayed because of the compensation or free soundtrack.
