Yesterdays Picture...

was taken at a place our family loves to go to. A place that is full of wildlife, peace, and just a place that I could stay at forever. It's a place that makes me want to go back in time and live when my grandparents were young. Cades Cove National Park, The park is located in the Great Smoky Mountains. Each time we visit the Pigeon Forge, TN area we go there, for a ride through the park. We try to have a picnic, and I would love to be able to take our new camper and stay for a week there.

There is a loop that is 11 miles that you can drive, walk or bike. There are plenty of trails to hike, horse back riding, and old homes and churches to look at. Then there is our favorite thing to do, look and watch the wildlife. We always see plenty of deer, turkey and sometimes even black bears.

I would suggest checking this place out next time you are in the area.

My husband is a deer hunter, and all I ever hear is how he would just love to hunt in the park. Ha! Is what I tell him, I am sure him and many other men would love to hunt there too.
